Not to put the pressure on or anything but you’ve got three seconds to capture your audience’s attention with Facebook video.
We’ve worked with Red Bull Music on a wide variety of short film, session and animated explainer videos over the years and the golden rule has always been to grab eyeballs ASAFP. But how to create content that hits the spot with your audience and doesn’t break the bank?
For Red Bull, we came up with a neat solution in the shape of our Brief History of… series. Covering everything from French Touch to UK post-punk, these small but perfectly formed clips tell you everything you need to know about any given genre while advancing the client’s reputation for providing knowledgeable and entertaining content.
What’s more, by bringing in an illustrator for the ongoing social media video series, our client not only had a unique, on-point means to tell their story but, unlike licensing media, they outright owned the images for use with future projects and across other platforms.
With some parallax editing to give movement to the imagery, this proved to be a successful and creative solution to a potentially expensive problem.
